Rural Women Empowerment

To organise rural women and develop leadership among them with a view to make the system of local self-governance transparent and accountable with community participation so the community members may lead a dignified life
Output of the programme
- 70 women’s forums with a membership of 2,862 women
- 70 groups through women’s forums
- Identification and capacity building of rural women leadership on different issues
- Ensuring benefit of social security/welfare schemes to 750 families through block resource centre.
The social welfare schemes include disability certificate, widow pension, old age pension, ration card, etc. Block resource centre is run the community and benefits the families associated with women’s forum.
