Pre-education Nutrition and Support
To associate children in 6 months to 5.5 years age group from highly malnourished, destitute and deprived Mushar families
Activities
Under the project three centres with 170 children are being run in Sant Kabir Nagar district and two with 103 children in Basti district. Malnutrition inhibits development of the children as they do not get balanced diet. The following are provided to such children and their families:
- 50 kg ration to each family twice in a year
- Milk, biscuits and halwa to each child at the centre on weekdays (not provided on Sundays)
- Pre-primary education to the children at the centre and motivating their parents to enrol them in the primary schools at the appropriate age
