Objective of the Programme

Addressing the obstacles in the progress of women, especially the women farmers and empowering them through local civil society organizations. The project focused on the priorities of European Union which included promoting the economic and social rights of women, empowering and enhancing the voice of women, promoting leadership and participation of women in socio-economic life, promoting gender equality to improve access to resources and guaranteeing equal rights, strengthening capacities of CSOs for undertaking policy dialogue with decision makers to enhance the participation of women, increasing the participation of women in the climate change agenda, and promoting trilateral cooperation on the above issues through the engagement of women.
